Extension gets go-ahead for Breckland Estate

Planning permission has been granted for a new 6 bedroom extension to an existing Grade II listed Hall near Swaffham, Norfolk.  Work is due to start at the site in Spring 2013.

The project is being led by architect Parsons + Whittley, while JDGA have been engaged to provide full M&E design services.

Training Centre Opened

This week sees new training facilities opened at a Major London Hospital.  The facility provides much needed accommodation for training and office areas, and is based around a flexible partitioning system which is able to cater for both small groups and presentations to larger audiences.

JDGA and Coltech Engineering, Stowmarket, worked in partnership to provide full M&E services design for the facility.

JDGA to provide supermarket thermal study

JDGA will undertake a thermal modelling study to assist one of the UK’s leading retailers better understand the energy performance of their superstores.  Working in partnership with CNC Consulting in Norwich, JDGA will model the stores using TAS and investigate the energy performance of various site and design parameters.

The work is intended to allow future superstore developments to achieve lower energy targets, and enable the development teams to hit tightening Part L requirements with greater certainty.
